The controlled appellation of origin a naturally semi-sweet red wine, made from the Alexandreuli and Mudzhuretuli grape varieties cultivated in the Khvanchkara district in the western Georgia. The wine is of a light- ruby colour, has raspberry flavor and a harmonious velvety taste. The pleasant wine is light, smooth and elegant. “Khvanchkara” is one of the most popular Georgian semi-sweet wines.
